Panel: Treaties, a Development Tool for the Pan-African Film Industry

Jackie Motsepe is the Chief Operations Officer at the KZN Film Commission. She leads a team in implementing the core programme of Marketing and industry development which includes skills development, funding, marketing and location promotion.
At the establishment of the National Film and Video foundation, Motsepe established South Africa as a filmmaking destination and was a founder of the South African Film and Television Awards positioning the SA film industry in the international market and working closely with the local film industry.
At the South African Broadcasting Corporation she was General Manager responsible for the acquisition and licensing of content for the 3 TV channels. Ms Motsepe developed a co-production strategy for co-production of content.
Motsepe was appointed as President of the Jury Video Films and Television Series at the Pan African Film Festival FESPACO Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Appointed the Head of Jury for Feature Films at the African International Film Festival, Calabar, Nigeria.
