Newsletter #40 Trainings, workshops and more: make your choice at Pavillon Afriques!

Dear Filmmakers,

We are slowly but surely getting closer to Pavillon Afriques 2021 which will take place from July 6 to 15 at Cannes Film Festival. This 2nd edition will be virtual and exciting!

Several quality trainings and workshops, carefully themed to allow you to perfecting your talents and know-how, as well as to refine the technical and artistic aspects of your projects, will be led by talented professionals recognized in their trade such as Christian Epps of LCD! in particular.

A few topics:

• Production design with Akin McKenzie

• Producing quality African content: an international conversation with Paul Garnes

• Camera/Lighting with Christian Epps

We will also propose 2 pitch sessions (one in French and one in English) to present your projects to investors, co-producers, TV channels.

Format: 10 minutes of presentation followed by 10 minutes of Q&A.

English pitch session: July 7th from 2pm to 4pm GMT+1

French pitch session: July 12th from 2pm to 4pm GMT+1

You will be able to prepare yourself during the "Pitching: Getting a yes" training on July 6th, with Kelly Edwards from LCD!
